Good day Kings & Queens. If you live or were in the area of the Hampton Roads, then you know where I am coming from when I say ICE week! Lol! The snow came down Monday night and the temperature drop severely making the snow so, so hard. Last year I was able to work out in the snow because it was soft. I was able to make solid steps in the snow but this year, HA! Monday was great because of the freshness but the rest of the week it was impossible to do anything outside that would be worth doing. Just walking outside was a challenged so imagine bounding (which I was able to do last year) in the snow. Trust me, I am not complaining about the weather or the snow because I know it gets worst. Burr!!! For those days like we had this week I offer you a training routine you can do inside to work the core and supplement for a sprint workout. I volunteer at Indian River Middle School with the Girls track team and I just happen to give them part of this workout not knowing that I would not be seeing them again for a week. And I just think who took the step forward and listened to coach? Who is the athlete that put the work in on this week out of school? We have try-outs this week coming up. UH-OH! So even if you were slightly fast, the girl who did the drills on break working on her form or the girl doing the work out building her muscles, will show up at tryouts ready to run and beat you! We will only take a certain amount of young women. We will certainly take the young woman who shows up when it is time! So did the “ICE Week” set you back or put you ahead? (Comment below. Workout below also.)

150 jumping jacks

20 standing lounges

20 sec high knees

20 sec squat hold

20 sec squat jumps

1 min ankle bounce

Do (3) three sets! Tell me if you tried the workout!
